About

Hi, I’m Kirsten.

I’m a photographer in Franklin, Indiana, and I believe the everyday moments deserve as much celebrating as the milestones. Golden hour is my favorite hour, and my camera roll is the proof.

I photograph families, couples, and weddings all over Johnson County and the south side of Indy, plus the occasional horse, birthday dog, or half-birthday cake smash. If it matters to you, it’s worth a photo.

I’m a one-woman business, so the person you email is the person who shows up, takes the photos, and edits every one. That’s also how I keep my pricing simple and friendly.

    I’d rather catch the laugh after the pose than the pose itself. Expect gentle direction and lots of room to just be yourselves.

    Most sessions are scheduled around golden hour, the soft, warm light right before sunset that makes everyone look like a memory.

What to expect

What a session with me feels like.

We’ll meet somewhere beautiful, usually a field, a park, or a favorite spot of yours, an hour or two before sunset. The first few minutes are for warming up, so nobody needs to feel camera-ready right away.

Kids are allowed to be kids. Toddlers melt down; I bring patience and a few tricks. Partners who “hate photos” are my specialty. I’ll give you simple prompts to keep things moving, then step back and let the real stuff happen.

How it works

Easy from hello to gallery.

  1. Step 1: Say hello

    Send a quick inquiry with your date (or a rough idea) and what you have in mind. I reply within 48 hours.

  2. Step 2: Plan it together

    We pick a spot and a time of day for the best light, and I send simple tips on what to wear.

  3. Step 3: Have fun with it

    No stiff posing. I guide you with easy prompts while the real moments happen on their own. Kids and pets welcome.

  4. Step 4: Relive it

    Your edited photos arrive in a private online gallery, usually within two to three weeks.
